FAiTh Fight Against Thalassemia organized a grand birthday party for thalassemia fellows / FAiTh members on 13th December 2020 in Good Luck Lawn Karachi.
30 thalassemia fellows from different thalassemia centers celebrated their birthday with FAiTh.
We had cake cutting ceremony, gifts distribution, live performance and dinner.
We are really thankful to Mr & Mrs Zubair Kothari & Abdul Hameed Kath family for their kind arrival and presence at the event.

Team FAiTh visited Punjab Thalassemia Prevention Project Head Office Lahore on 27th November 2020
We are really thankful to Dr. Shabnam Bashir ex-director PTPP for inviting us, giving us thorough introduction & tour of PTPP work & office.
It is a wonderful program for thalassemia prevention, we wish to see such programs in other provinces too.
FAiTh – Fight Against Thalassemia – A Patients & Parents Association visited Sundas Foundation Gujranwala on 26th November 2020
We are really thankful to Sundas Foundation founder Haji Sarfaraz Sahab for the invitation, for the wonderful hospitality. He gave introduction of Sundas Foundation, a complete tour of Sundas Foundation Gujranwala and have also asked us to visit his more centers in future.
We met thalassemia fellows, interacted with them, spent some quality time. Team also distributed gifts and biscuits among them as token of love from FAiTh.
We are once again thankful to entire team of Sundas Foundation Gujranwala for inviting us, for giving us chance to interact with patients & parents, for the arrangements, support & a very wonderful dinner by Haji Sarfaraz Sahab & team.
FAiTh Islamabad / Rawalpindi Fellows meetup held at Fatima Jinnah Park Islamabad on 22nd November 2020 ❣️
It was small but interactive meetup with thalassemia fellows and their families in Islamabad, where we discussed issues, achievements, solutions and a lot more.
FAiTh Fight Against Thalassemia was invited by Give Life Society Sargodha for Thalassemia Awareness Carnival in Sargodha on 20th November 2020.
FAiTh president Ayesha Mehmood was invited as a guest speaker. 400+ patients, parents, general public, people from print media, social media, electronic media, local government officials, students attended the event.
FAiTh team also visited Thalassemia Ward in Hilal e Ahmar (Red Crescent) Hospital. There are almost 1000 patients in Sargodha city and 2 Thalassemia centers working.
Punjab Thalassemia Prevention Program head Dr Shabnam and her team were also invited as guest speaker.

FAiTh Fight Against Thalassemia organized a thalassemia patients & parents session at Panjand Hotel Uch Sharif on 17th November 2020. Where 30+ patients and their parents attended the event.
Discussed their issues, asked for guidance in treatment, we asked them to stay connected with FAiTh to gain knowledge, information and support for their treatment.
After session we distributed some gifts among them and we had lunch together. There are more than 100 patients in Uch Sharif, they try to get blood transfusions from Bahawalpur (79 km distance) in proper thalassemia ward of Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital. But sometimes they have no choice but to get whole blood transfused and they rarely get iron chelation medicines.
FAiTh is trying to support them for iron chelation medicines.
We are thankful to our district coordinator Adil Shah and his team for their efforts in Uch Sharif.
FAiTh distributed shawls among thalassemia fellows at Fatimid Foundation Rashidabad on 5th November 2020. We are really thankful to our generous donors for their donations!
دس اکتوبر 2020 کو فیتھ ٹیم نے ٹھٹہ مکلی سول ہسپتال میں بنے تھیلیسیمیا وارڈ کا وزٹ کیا۔ وہاں تھیلیسیمیا فیلوز کو معلوماتی سیشن دیا، ان کے مسائل سنیں اور ان میں تحائف تقسیم کیے۔
تھیلیسیمیا وارڈ کی انچارج ڈاکٹر شاہدہ نے ہماری ٹیم کو پانچ ماہ قبل وزٹ کا کہا تھا۔ انہوں نے ہم سے شئیر کیا وہاں 312 مریض رجسٹرڈ ہیں۔ انہیں ہسپتال کا بلڈ بنک جو کے انڈس ہسپتال کے زیر نگرانی ہے خون مفت مہیا کرتا ہے۔ ادوایات کی قلت ہے۔ اسٹاف اپنی مدد آپ کے تحت بچوں کو ادوایات فراہم کرنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے پر وہ ناکافی ہے۔
ٹیم کی ملاقات میڈیکل سپرنٹینڈنٹ، دیگر اسٹاف ممبرز سے بھی ہوئی۔ فیتھ کی پریذیڈنٹ عائشہ محمود نے ادوایات کے لئے انہیں بیت المال پاکستان سے رابطہ کرنے کا مشورہ دیا

Chand Raat Celebration was organized by FAiTh at FAiTh office Karachi on 23rd May 2020
It was an event by thalassemia fellows for thalassemia fellows.
20+ fellows and their parents attended the event, had dinner, got Eid gifts, girls applied mehndi, it was a great get together & a chance for fellows where they met, greet and discussed a lot of things, Alhamdulillah it was a fun-filled day.
Due to COVID-19 situation we invited limited numbers of fellows. Followed all the SOPs of COVID19.
Special thanks to our amazing donors for Eid gifts.
