Regional Blood Centre Quetta (RBC) Safe Blood Transfusion Programme. A development project of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW Development Bank.
RBC Quetta was inaugurated in 2016. It is situated at Spinny Road, Quetta.

FAiTh is thankful to Abdul Haleem Sahab & entire staff of RBC for their hospitality & briefing us on our visit to RBC Quetta, We were delighted to see the commitment of RBC team, their devotion, the hard work, standard, protocol which is being followed there. The similar standard / protocol should be followed in other blood banks / thalassemia centers too. Safe blood provision should be the top most priority of all blood banks & thalassemia centers like Regional Blood Banks.
The staff thoroughly briefed us about all the procedure, protocol, how an attendant arrive at RBC, what procedure they have to follow, they showed us all the steps involved in blood donation, screening, component making, storage & distribution.
Thalassemia patients in Quetta & other diseases patients from different hospitals receives blood from RBC without any charges and without any donor, they are asked to provide donors but not forced.

FAiTh Team Lead Rehan Qadeer organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Fatimid Foundation Karachi for Thalassemic children whose blood donations were affected by COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
The camp was organized at Karachi Bar Association, City Court Karachi where many lawyers turned up for blood donation to help children who were suffering at the hands of this disease.
Congratulations to Rehan Qadeer for organizing a successful blood donation camp & thanks to the wonderful donors for their gift of life.
Thalassemia fellow Ruqqaiya had a wish to spend a day at Farm House or Beach, we fulfilled her wish by taking her to beach on Sunday 19th September 2021 along with her friends and sister. We also celebrated her birthday at beach 🎉
