FAiTh team distributed rashan & biscuits among thalassemia fellows
Mrs Zubair & Saad Mendha also distributed dresses & gifts in thalassemia kids and their families.
Team also had interactive session with thalassemia fellows & their attendants, through which they tried to bring awareness among them about the standard treatment & protocols that are required to adopt in order to lead a healthy life. They also insisted on prevention to curtail the growth of thalassemia in the country.

Alhamdulillah another trend set! In last 20 years none of the thalassemia center or any platform organized infusion pump introductive or training session for patients. Alhamdulillah FAiTh organized it in the history of Pakistan
FAiTh’s aim is to provide solutions to our thalassemia fellows problems and Alhamdulillah this session will help a lot of fellows with their pump issues & new purchases InshaAllah

Team lead Rehan Qadeer, Saad Mendha, Asma Saad & Muhammad Shoaib, interacted with thalassemia patients & parents shared their experience and knowledge with the thalassemia fellows.
Rehan Qadeer is thalassemia major, legal advisor of FAiTh, gold medalist & a lawyer in a leading firm in Karachi.
Saad is 34 years old, have done graduation & ACCA, married for last 10 years to a fellow thalassemic Asma Saad and doing job as Accounts Manager since last 15 years.
Muhammad Shoaib is a freelancer.
President Ayesha Mehmood, General Secretary Muhammad Hammad & Finance Secretary Abida Nosheen were also present.
We met thalassemia fellows, interacted with them, spent some quality time. Team also distributed blankets, biscuits, toys & masks among them as token of love from FAiTh.

The COVID-19 pandemic means that many of us are staying at home and sitting down more than we usually do. It’s hard for a lot of us to do the sort of exercise we normally do. It’s even harder for people who don’t usually do a lot of physical exercise.
But at a time like this, it’s very important for people of all ages and abilities to be as active as possible. Outdoor recreational activity benefits both the body and mind. It can reduce all the conditions due to COVID-19.
Hence to take a break from usual activities FAiTh team went on a tour of Shah Jahan Mosque, Thatta & Makli Necropolis, Thatta on 22nd January after patients parents session.
The Shah Jahan Mosque, also known as the Jamia Masjid of Thatta, is a 17th-century building that serves as the central mosque for the city of Thatta, in the Pakistani province of Sindh.
Makli Necropolis is one of the largest funerary sites in the world, spread over an area of 10 kilometres near the city of Thatta, in the Pakistani province of Sindh. The site houses approximately 500,000 to 1 million tombs built over the course of a 400-year period.
Our endeavor is to make the days of life of fellows to be as memorable as possible for their families and loved ones. We understand that the trouble and pain of the thalassemia patients cannot be stopped altogether. However through our efforts, we believe we can make the quality of their lives somewhat better and make their moments precious.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip, clicked memorable pictures, had lunch together at Cafe Imran, Gharo.

Burhani Blood Bank & Thalasesmia Center is situated at Saifee Rd, Block F North Nazimabad Town, Karachi. There are more than 250 patients registered who are getting free of cost blood transfusions & iron chelation medicines.

FAiTh Fight Against Thalassemia organized Wishes & Empowerment Program in Uch Sharif on 13th November 2021
62 thalassemia fellows wishes were fulfilled, 3 sewing machines were handed over to thalassemia affected families for earning purpose & iron chelation medicines worth rupees 42 thousand were distributed among thalassemia fellows.
Children interacted with president Ayesha Mehmood and expressed their happiness of receiving gifts. They also shared their health progress with her, requested her to keep supporing them
