On November 7, 2022, Team FAiTh Fight Against Thalassemia met Medical Superintendent Dr. Shahid Islam Junejo at Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad / Jamshoro. Mumtaz Ali Jatoi informed him about FAiTh, its activities, and how we supports the thalassemia patients at Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad.
Additionally, he informed him that FAiTh intended to contribute three LED TVs to the thalassemia ward.
Meeting Dr. Shahid Islam Junejo was an honour, and we are very appreciative of his time, well wishes, and prayers.
On November 7, 2022, FAiTh, a group of patients and parents, paid a visit to Liaquat Medical Hospital in Hyderabad.
Along with the president Ayesha Mehmood, general secretary Muhammad Hammad, and finance secretary Abida Nosheen, team leads Muhammad Saad, Muhammad Shoaib, and Raza Ahmed Khan were also present.
We got to know other people with thalassemia, engaged with them, and had a good time. In addition, the team gave them flour sacks, treat bags, and blankets as a sign of love from FAiTh.
We wish to express our gratitude to the entire staff of the Thalassemia Ward of Liaquat Medical Hospital for their invitation, opportunity to speak with patients and parents, accommodations, and assistance.

Team Lead Saad Mendha, Muhammad Shoaib & Raza Khan interacted with thalassemia patients & parents shared their experience and knowledge with the thalassemia fellows.
President Ayesha Mehmood, General Secretary Muhammad Hammad & Finance Secretary Abida Nosheen were also present.
We met thalassemia fellows, interacted with them, spent some quality time. Team also distributed blankets & flour bags among them as token of love from FAiTh.
We are once again thankful to entire team of Liaquat Medical Hospital for inviting us, for giving us chance to interact with patients & parents, for the arrangements, and support.

General Secretary FAiTh visit to Liaquat Medical Hospital Hyderabad
Alhamdulillah with the help of generous donors FAiTh distributed 20 infusions pumps worth rupees 220,000/- among 20 thalassemia patients of Liaquat Medical Hospital Hyderabad.
Team also distributed some gifts some fellows.
All the cases were verified by admin Liaquat Medical Hospital Hyderabad.

FAiTh Team Lead Rehan Qadeer organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Karachi Bar Association & Fatimid Foundation Karachi for Thalassemic children whose blood donations are badly affected.
The camp was organized at Karachi Bar Association, City Court Karachi on 30th July 2022 where many lawyers turned up for blood donation to help children who were suffering at the hands of this disease.
Congratulations to Rehan Qadeer for organizing a successful blood donation camp & thanks to the wonderful donors for their gift of life.
Team FAiTh organized a picnic for our thalassemia fellows on 28th July 2022 at a Farm House in Karachi, where we celebrated their birthday and also had BBQ party
Alhamdulillah 30+ fellows and their family members enjoyed the picnic thoroughly.
We at FAiTh believe it’s important for their mental health to take time out for themselves, relax and recharge the batteries.
We hope you all will agree patients deserve to have a little fun too 🙂
Help International Welfare Trust (HIWT) organized an awareness walk on the occasion of International Thalassemia Day on 8th May 2022 from Bait ul Mukarram Masjid to Civic Center Karachi.
People from different thalassemia centers, media and even families of Thalassemia fellows join the walk.
International Thalassemia Day is marked annually on 8th May to create the awareness about the dangers of Thalassemia and to show solidarity to the patients suffering from this deadly disease.
FAiTh is honored to be among the supporting partners for the walk & for receiving the token of appreciation.
Chand Raat Celebration was organized by FAiTh at FAiTh office Karachi on 1st May 2022
It was an event by thalassemia fellows for thalassemia fellows.
Fellows and their parents attended the event, had iftar, dinner, got Eid gifts, girls applied mehndi, it was a great get together & a chance for fellows where they met, greet and discussed a lot of things. After 2 years of Covid restriction we organized this event & Alhamdulillah it was a fun-filled day.
