Collaboration for Patient Care

FAiTh was delighted to welcome Muhammad Farooq Sangani, Convener of the Thalassemia Committee at Kutiyana Memon Hospital, along with Ameen Prince, Deputy Convener.

FAiTh deeply appreciates the support of Kutiyana Memon Hospital, especially for their assistance in splenectomy procedures for thalassemia patients. Together, both organizations aim to strengthen collaboration in:

Spleen removal surgeries
Emergency patient support
Blood donation drives
Long-term thalassemia care initiatives

Inspiring Patient Stories

One of the most emotional moments of the evening came from Ijaz, husband of Faiza, a thalassemia major. He shared their journey of managing regular blood transfusions, searching for donors, and facing the challenges that come with the condition.

Despite these obstacles, their story is one of strength, love, and resilience. Happily married and blessed with a daughter, their experience highlights an important message: thalassemia patients can live fulfilling lives when provided proper medical care, emotional support, and social acceptance.

Another unforgettable moment came when 10-year-old Hoorain took the stage simply to say “thank you.”

Before joining FAiTh, she was not receiving proper medical guidance. With FAiTh’s support and collaboration with Kutiyana Memon Hospital, she received the right treatment and successfully underwent spleen removal surgery.

On stage, Hoorain expressed her gratitude to FAiTh, Muhammad Hammad, and Ayesha Mehmood for helping her and her family. Her innocent words touched every heart in the room and reminded everyone why this mission matters.

Leadership and Vision

During the event, Ayesha Mehmood, President of FAiTh Foundation, delivered a heartfelt address sharing

The journey and history of FAiTh
The organization’s achievements in supporting thalassemia patients
Current programs and progress toward the Thalassemia Care Centre
Future plans for expanding healthcare services and awareness initiatives

Her speech inspired attendees to continue supporting the mission of building a thalassemia-free Pakistan.

Later, FAiTh’s General Secretary, Muhammad Hammad, expressed sincere appreciation to all donors, volunteers, supporters, patients, and families who attended the event and strengthened FAiTh’s mission through their presence.

Celebrating the FAiTh Family

One of the most meaningful moments captured during the event was the gathering of thalassemia fellows alongside President Ayesha Mehmood. The moment symbolized resilience, faith, and the deep bond FAiTh has built with patients and their families over the years.

Every smile and every story reflects why FAiTh continues to work tirelessly — because behind every patient is a dream worth protecting.
