FAiTh – Fight Against Thalassemia – A Patients & Parents Association visited Thalassemia Burhani Blood Bank & Thalassemia Center on 8th January 2022

Burhani Blood Bank & Thalasesmia Center is situated at Saifee Rd, Block F North Nazimabad Town, Karachi. There are more than 250 patients registered who are getting free of cost blood transfusions & iron chelation medicines.

We are really thankful to Javaid Sahab & Dr. Durriya Ijaz for the wonderful hospitality.

Team leads Mr & Mrs Saad, both thalassemia major shared their experience and knowledge with the thalassemia fellows.

Saad is 34 years old, have done graduation & ACCA, married for last 10 years to a fellow thalassemic and doing job as Accounts Manager since last 15 years mashaAllah

Team leads Raza Ahmed Khan & Shoaib were also present along with president Ayesha Mehmood & General Secretary Muhammad Hammad

We met thalassemia fellows, interacted with them, spent some quality time. Team also distributed shawls, biscuits & lunch among them as token of love from FAiTh.

We are once again thankful to entire team of Burhani Blood Bank & Thalassemia Center for inviting us, for giving us chance to interact with patients & parents, for the arrangements, and support.
